Your words are yours.
Wen Daily stores account identifiers, private journal entries, ritual completion, and billing references to deliver your account and purchases. Journal entries are not publicly shared or sent to an AI model.
Services that process data
Clerk handles authentication, Vercel hosts the app, the configured PostgreSQL provider stores account and journal records, and Stripe processes payment and billing data. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s hosted pages and are not stored by Wen Daily. These providers may process data internationally under their applicable agreements.
Storage and access
Authenticated journal records are restricted to your account by server-side checks. They are not end-to-end encrypted: authorized operators and infrastructure providers may access stored data when necessary for support, security, or legal obligations. Avoid entering sensitive medical, financial, or third-party personal information.
Your choices
Export your journal from My journal or Settings at any time. Delete individual writing by editing it, or delete every journal entry from Settings. For complete account deletion or privacy requests, contact support. Billing records may need to remain for accounting, dispute, or legal requirements. Deleting a journal does not cancel a subscription; use Manage billing first.
Local storage and cookies
Essential authentication cookies maintain your session. A local browser preference remembers your chosen colour palette. Preview journal entries exist only in the current page’s memory and disappear when the page is reloaded. This release includes no advertising trackers.
Retention
Journal entries are kept until you delete them or request account deletion. Operational backups may retain deleted records for the database provider’s configured retention period. Payment records follow the operator’s statutory retention obligations. No journal contents are intentionally included in application logs.
Contact
Support contact and the database provider’s retention configuration must be finalized before public registration opens.
